Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Pediatric Surgeon to provide surgical care to pediatric patients ranging from newborns to teenagers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric surgery and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other pediatric providers to diagnose and determine if surgery is necessary
  • Manage and perform preoperative, operative, and postoperative care
  • Provider will have a mix of patient appointments and surgical time
  • Procedures can include Appendectomy, Biopsy, Pyloric Stenosis, Hernia Repair, Cholecystectomy, I&D, device implants (gtube, VAD, etc.), Tracheotomy, exploratory lap, bowel resections
  • The Surgeon will receive referrals from our internal pediatric programs (Peds ED, Primary Peds, Pediatric Specialty Clinics, NICU, Inpatient Peds & PICU)
Requirements
  • Board Certification in Pediatric Surgery
  • Experience in pediatric surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
