Overview

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a diagnostic imaging specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

To perform MRI patient examinations as per departmental policy, procedural protocol, and ACR standards. This includes:
  • Preparing patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Operating MRI equipment, maintaining its optimal performance, and troubleshooting any technical issues.
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Providing exceptional patient service, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the MRI experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • ARRT certification with 1 year of MRI cross-training or completion of an MRI program.
  • MRI Registry certification within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Initial 16 hours of MRI education for ARRT completion.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in MRI technology.
