Surgical Technician Job in Seattle, Washington

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join their team in Seattle, Washington. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technician will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses during procedures, and ensuring the proper handling and disposal of surgical instruments and supplies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, including setting up and cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, including passing instruments and supplies.
  • Ensure the proper handling and disposal of surgical instruments and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and supplies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
