Government Facility Seeks Primary Care Physician

Locums, Inc. is currently in search of qualified Physicians who are board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Pediatrics to deliver Primary Care services at a government facility.
Providers will have the opportunity to offer both in-person consultations and telehealth services. All state and federal licenses are accepted at government facilities.
Position Highlights:
- Responsibilities include diagnosis, treatment, medication management, immunizations, and care for injuries.
- Clinic operates from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Sunday, with 12-hour shifts, requiring availability for some weekends and holidays.
- Performance period may extend beyond initial assignments.
- Anticipated patient volume is approximately 23 patients per hour.
- Comprehensive malpractice insurance is included.
- Travel, accommodation, and daily allowances are provided for out-of-town providers.
- This role is structured as a 1099 contract.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must possess an active and unrestricted state or federal medical license.
- A valid Fitness for Duty Certificate from a licensed physician is required.
- Current vaccination and immunization records must be provided.
- Board certification by ABFM, ABIM, or ABIM/ABP for Med-Ped is essential.
- An active and unrestricted DEA registration is necessary.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
