Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medicine IV Unit at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and to be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized care and monitoring to patients with complex conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients
  • Manage high-acuity cases and perform necessary procedures
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions as needed
  • Educate patients and families on care and treatment options
  • Accurately document patient information and care interventions in medical records
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
  • 1 year of acute nursing experience preferred
