Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our 17-bed NICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and a passion for delivering high-quality care to critically ill newborns. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Administer medications and perform various patient tests as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Licensed as a R.N. by the Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners.
- Minimum of 3 months experience as an RN.
- CPR, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
- Preferred: NICU/Pedi experience as an RN, LPN, or Nurse Tech.
