About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with lymphoma and myeloma, including administering medications and treatments, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating discharge plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in hematology and oncology.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within one year of hire.
  • Two years of recent related nursing experience, with a focus on hematology and oncology.
