About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Researcher to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services (CIS) business, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in complex software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify vulnerabilities in software applications
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent cyber threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into our cybersecurity solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our solutions remain effective
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their cybersecurity needs and provide tailored solutions
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity research and analysis
  • Strong understanding of software development and cybersecurity principles
  • Experience with reverse engineering and vulnerability research on embedded/RTOS systems
  • Ability to design and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Skills
  • Experience with scalable network solutions (CISCO, etc.)
  • Knowledge of kernel-level programming languages (C, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with hardware/firmware/communications/OS reverse engineering
  • Ability to oversee technical execution of teams up to 10 multi-disciplined engineers
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field

Clearance

TS/SCI clearance required
