Key Responsibilities
  1. Review and monitor medications, ensuring accurate dosages and treatment plans.
  2. Compound and dispense medications, maintaining a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
  3. Provide drug information and medication counseling to patients and healthcare professionals.
  4. Analyze and report on medication therapy-related data, identifying areas for improvement.
  5. Participate in the review of provider requests for Medicaid coverage and assist with Medicaid payment rules, regulations, and policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of New York.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
