Licensed Practical Nurse

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Maury County Tennessee, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare support to patients. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and other emergency responses as needed.
• Provide health care support as directed by the immediate supervisor, following a prescribed health care plan or protocol.
• Take the patient's vital signs and monitor their condition, identifying any potential issues or concerns.
• Administer medication, monitor side effects, and observe the effectiveness of medications.
• Feed and bathe patients, as well as prepare them for laboratory tests and obtain required lab specimens per protocol.
• Perform other procedures per protocol, such as dressing changes and self-examinations.
Requirements:
• Currently licensed as a practical nurse with the State of Tennessee or holds a privilege to practice in the State of Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required.
