We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Director of Facilities Operations to join our team at Penn State College of Medicine. This is a key leadership position that will oversee the planning, organization, and direction of multiple hospital facilities, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to multiple hospital facilities, including Hampden Medical Center, Holy Spirit Medical Center, and outpatient sites.
- Develop and implement comprehensive facility operations plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Oversee maintenance, plant engineering, waste processing, grounds, environmental compliance, and sustainability services.
- Direct and manage the facilities team, including budget preparation, goal development, and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to define organizational goals and strategic plans.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Seven years of progressively responsible experience in managing plant operations, with five years of management experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in a healthcare organization.
- Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification preferred.
