Director of Nursing

Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team.
Job Summary:The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall direction and management of the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals to provide exceptional patient care and services.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Recruit, hire, and develop nursing staff, ensuring a skilled and dedicated team.
- Manage the nursing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accreditation standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care, or related facility.
- 5 years of experience in nursing, with a strong background in leadership and management.
- An unencumbered RN license from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
