Protouch Staffing is seeking a skilled DME Sleep Technologist to join our team in Aberdeen, Chehalis, WA.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as a DME Sleep Technologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying medical DME orders and protocols, completing and verifying documentation, and reading sleep reports to provide accurate results to patients.
Responsibilities- Verify medical DME orders and protocols
- Complete and verify documentation
- Read sleep reports and provide accurate results to patients
- Knowledgeable about supplies and replacement schedules
- Explain procedures and orient patients to PAP equipment
- Instruct patients on proper use of PAP equipment, including comfort settings
- Prepare and calibrate PAP equipment for setup
- 6 months experience in a medical field, such as RT, RPSGT, Nursing Assistant, EMT, etc. (Sleep Technology experience preferred)
- Ability to organize and plan activities of subordinates, and delegate appropriately
- Computer skills, including word processing and efficient use of the internet and email
- Effective written and spoken communication skills
- Appropriate social skills
- Certified in Basic Life Support by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Health and Safety Institute
- Participate in educational training provided by our Medical Director
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, as well as talk and hear. The employee is required to use hands to operate equipment and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
