Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler System Technician to join our team. As a Sprinkler System Technician, you will be responsible for performing service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
Key Responsibilities- Receive service calls from our Service Resource Center and diagnose equipment/system malfunctions.
- Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
- Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, and other resources to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, and operational product manuals.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service and strong organizational skills.
- 7-10 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
- Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet.
- NICET Level II certification is a plus.
- Backflow certification is a plus.
