Role Summary:

  • Oversee and direct a team of frontend engineers in the creation and upkeep of top-tier web applications utilizing React JS alongside a Drupal backend.
  • Engage with stakeholders, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to comprehend project objectives and convert them into technical requirements.
  • Design and architect frontend solutions, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and secure.
  • Offer technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers, reviewing their code to uphold best practices.
  • Remain informed about the latest trends and technologies in web development, proposing enhancements to improve the frontend development workflow and outcomes.
  • Conduct code evaluations to guarantee compliance with coding standards, quality, and maintainability.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges that emerge during development and deployment.
  • Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, coding standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of experience in frontend web development with a strong focus on React JS.
  • In-depth knowledge of Drupal and its integration with frontend technologies.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Redux, or Angular.
  • Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers like Webpack, Babel, and NPM.
  • Strong grasp of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development strategies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a knack for swiftly identifying and addressing technical issues.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience in performance optimization and testing methodologies.
  • Prior experience in architecting and designing frontend solutions is highly valued.
