About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at DaVita Inc. as an Acute Dialysis Nurse. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and other renal therapies
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis machines
  • Work closely with PCTs to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) settings preferred
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification a plus
