Job Summary

Veolia Environnement SA is seeking a highly skilled Water and Waste Management Operator III to join our team. As a key member of our Operations and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment associated with water and waste management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain water and waste management equipment, including pumps, hoses, and other machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting equipment and reporting deficiencies to management.
  • Drive company vehicles and comply with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Assist in project planning, including on-site inspections and writing procedures.
  • Communicate with customers and management to ensure timely completion of jobs and high-quality service delivery.
  • Recommend changes and improvements to services and product lines based on job experiences and observations.
  • Perform field maintenance on company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Provide complete and accurate job service receipts and job logs to management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Approximately 1½ years industry experience, with a minimum of 1 year experience in water and waste management.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Basic math skills and strong equipment knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral.
  • Ability to operate and maintain other than primary service line equipment.
  • Must pass Technician 3 exam prior to completion of hiring.
  • Possess and maintain a CDL Class B license or higher.
