Key Responsibilities
  • Account Receivable Management: Reviews aging reports with management to prioritize aged and high-dollar claim resolution.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyzes, identifies, and communicates trends from aging reports that indicate non-payment or slow reimbursement associated with specific payors, therapies, patient accounts, and/or clients.
  • Payor Inquiries: Receives, investigates, and responds to inquiries from payors.
  • Follow-up and Resolution: Responsible for the follow-up of designated accounts, including denied and short-paid claims and payment errors.
  • Appeals and Resolution: Prepares and submits appeals to overturn payor denials and proactively seeks resolution to billing issues that may arise.
  • Claim Resolution: Reviews claim EOBs and correspondence to resolve denials of non-paid claims.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Creates ad-hoc reports as needed and distributes to requesting parties.
