Medical Professional for Correctional Facility

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Yuma facility. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological, and emotional needs of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients, including obtaining history and performing physical examinations
- Formulate working diagnoses and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe treatment based on diagnosis
- Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment
- Admit and discharge patients from all units in the facility
- Active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in Arizona
- 1 year of experience highly preferred
