Registered Nurse 1 Psychiatric Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse 1 Psychiatric to join our team. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing services to individuals diagnosed with mental illness, including nursing interventions, case finding, health teaching, and provision of supportive and/or restorative care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to identify and address patient needs.
- Develop and implement educational programs to promote patient health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
