We are seeking a highly skilled Toxicology Physician - Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at UT Health San Antonio.

About the Role

The Department of Emergency Medicine is expanding its Division of Medical Toxicology, and we need a talented professional to help us grow our inpatient Medical Toxicology consultation service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about medical toxicology and emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

As a Medical Toxicologist, you will provide expert consultations on toxicology cases, educate residents and students, and contribute to research initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to participate in program development and scholarly productivity in areas such as trauma, point-of-care ultrasound, global medicine, quality & safety, medical education, and more.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Medical Toxicology
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Eligibility for a Texas medical license

Our institution offers a competitive salary range: $300,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your annual salary, you can expect:
