Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Armed Security Professional to join our team at Sterling Security. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment by conducting proactive security patrols, monitoring and controlling access to the premises, and responding promptly to incidents and emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive security patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel enter
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action as required
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel and visitors
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid armed security license or be a prior law enforcement officer
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of firearms and other security equipment
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass comprehensive background checks
