About the Job

Smith Center Health and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide total care for residents, including activities of daily living (ADLs), such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care.
  • Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, as well as conduct range of motion as needed.
  • Observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
  • Current Kansas registration to practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
  • Desire to work with the elderly.
Work Schedule

This full-time position works 12-hour shifts from 6 am to 6 pm, with 3-day weekends off every other weekend. Never work more than 3 days in a row, with 7 days off every 14 days.
