Fencing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fencing Technician to join our team at Grace Pacific Corp. As a Fencing Technician, you will be responsible for performing rental fence duties, including loading/unloading, fabricating, delivering/picking up, installing/removing, cleaning and repairing fence materials.

• Operate equipment and tools, including Rhino pneumatic post driver, rock drill, compressor, welder, fence pliers, ladders, post pullers, come along, and other installation/removal tools and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining housekeeping and securing jobsites, facilities, and equipment.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks, ensure timely completion of projects, and review plans.
• Ensure documents are correctly completed and turned in daily for all job assignments, with emphasis on keeping an accurate inventory of incoming/outgoing equipment.
• Identify and determine when vehicle/equipment/materials should be refurbished or replaced and alert Supervisor or Foreman.
• Ability to safely tow equipment, reverse vehicles over 10,001 GVW, and reverse towed equipment.
• May be required to lift varying weight based on assigned duties/tasks.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Spot welding experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures.
• Required to read maps, job orders, forms.
• Blueprint reading helpful.
• Valid Hawaii driver's license, clean traffic abstract, and ability to meet DOT requirements for non-CDL commercial drivers.
• Ability to use small hand tools and climb ladders (ladders are rated at 300 pounds including person, tools, and material).
• Some knowledge of basic welding skills preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow instructions, work independently or with a crew to complete jobs in a timely manner.
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, as necessary.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a background check in order to get security clearance to access military facilities.
• Able to lift varying weights as required for the role.
