At Easy Dynamics Corporation, we're seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to support the design, architecture, build, and monitoring of cloud systems from a security and DevSecOps perspective.

The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing and advising on securing state-of-the-art, automated, fault-tolerant, and scalable AWS environments adhering to AWS best practices in standard and GovCloud regions.
  • Supporting the migration of infrastructure and system/application workloads to AWS Cloud, including rehosting, repurchasing, refactoring, retiring, and retaining.
  • Institutionalizing DevOps methodology and creating, maintaining, and employing automated CICD pipelines.
  • Collaborating on security initiatives with the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Information System Security Owners (ISSO), System Owners (SO), and security stakeholders.
  • Participating in security meetings, workgroups, or training events.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or 12 years of on-the-job experience in cloud security or cybersecurity.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in specialized cloud technologies, with a focus on cloud security architecture and implementation.
  • Optional Specialty Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
  • Understanding of IaaS and PaaS cloud services and experience employing them to design solutions to complex problems.
  • Knowledge and experience with Cloud Architecture Design, Networking and Security, DevOps and CICD Pipelines, Migration, and Automation.
  • Ability to research, analyze, correlate, and present vulnerability data from various tools.
  • Ability to configure, integrate, and implement 3rd party security solutions.
  • Strong analytical, task management, time management, and communication skills.
  • Hardworking and self-motivated, with the ability to work in team and individual settings.
  • Ability to work remotely and occasionally on-site in Washington DC.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $125,000.
