We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
- Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
- Prepare and review tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Provide tax audit support and representation to clients in the event of an audit.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to provide expert advice to clients.
- 5+ years of tax experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or tax consulting firm.
- Experience completing individual tax returns and providing tax planning advice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
