Responsibilities- Provide telehospitalist services overnight
- No night shifts, no call, no procedures, and ER runs codes
- Blocked scheduling with an average census of 4-5 patients and 1-2 admissions per day
- Physician support available via phone
- On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, conduct rounding and travel up to 30 minutes to visit skilled/long-term care patients
- Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certified
- Experience preferred
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioner's field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Shift-based compensation with performance incentives and wRVU kicker
