Job Summary

Schneider is seeking experienced CDL-A intermodal truck drivers to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. As an intermodal truck driver, you will be responsible for driving in and out of railyards within IA, IL, IN, and MI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
  • Drive in and out of railyards within IA, IL, IN, and MI.
  • 90% no-touch freight that is 50% drop-and-hook.
Benefits

Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
  • Drivers on this account are required to drive at night.
  • Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
  • Live within 40 miles of Chicago, IL.
  • Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience.
