Frito-Lay Incorporated is seeking a skilled Regional Class A CDL Driver to join our team. As a Regional Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer and transporting products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations
  • Load and unload trailers, which may involve manual labor or the use of a two-wheeler
  • Transport chips, dips, and other products to and from large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers
  • Obtain signature of receipt, pick up returns, and complete logs and other paperwork related to deliveries
  • Review invoices and/or manifests to ensure accuracy
  • Use an electronic logging device to track hours and mileage
  • Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch to ensure smooth delivery operations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license
  • At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation

What We Offer:

  • Average weekly miles 2,000-3,000 Local/Regional work out and back home in 10-12 hours on 95% of trips
  • Average yearly pay is $98,000 average 2023. $100,000+ range for 2024. $1,500 Referral, safety up to $400 per year
  • Benefits include health, dental, vision, vacation, holidays, personal days, life and disability, paid onboarding/training, and a 401k plan with employer contribution
  • Volvo Automatic Tractors Single and Tandem; no sleepers. Advanced Safety Features in newest units; new units every year
  • 70/8 day log. Occasional holidays are worked. Work is minimized on New Years, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Days so time can be spent at home with family
  • Home Time: Daily with 2 consecutive days off after 50 hours is obtained
  • Dispatches run AM and PM. Work is awarded by the Seniority bid board
