Installation Supervisor

The Supervisor Installer is the primary point of contact for customer foremen and engineers, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet customer expectations and requirements. This role reports directly to the Manager Operations and is responsible for project financial and resource allocation for assigned projects.

• Coordinate with customer field engineers and foremen to ensure installation products meet customer expectations and standards.
• Schedule and monitor installation activities to ensure hours used are at or below budgeted installation hours.
• Conduct face-to-face project start meetings with customers and coordinate material deliveries.
• Review and approve subordinate timesheets and determine appropriateness of additional compensation requests.
• Ensure subordinates and installers are adequately trained to perform activities to local standards.
• Evaluate performance of subordinates and recommend retention, advancement, and pay changes.

• Associate Degree in an appropriate technology desirable.
• 6+ years working field knowledge of PON fiber networks.
• Excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and inter-personal skills.
• Basic understanding of business finance (OP, GP, Budgeting, Estimating).
• Concern for personal safety and ability to manage several business accounts.

Working normally in an office environment, though frequently required at customer sites. Must be accessible outside normal working hours by mobile phone to respond to emergent customer needs. Significant travel to/from customer locations, requiring some over-night travel.
