Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services that comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Supervise and mentor a team of auditors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to client service, identifying cross-selling opportunities where appropriate.
- Provide technical accounting advice to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of GAAP and other relevant regulations.
- Continually monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of audit processes and procedures, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations, ensuring the team's practices remain compliant and up-to-date.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Assurance & Advisory team, participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an audit supervisory role within the finance industry.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with a solid understanding of GAAP and other relevant regulations.
- Proven experience in business development, with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for growth.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team of auditors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic advice to clients.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
