Bridgerland Technical College is seeking a skilled Plumbing Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a safe and productive learning environment.

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet the needs of our students and align with industry standards.
• Provide students with technical instruction and hands-on training in plumbing techniques and practices.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet program goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes that reflect industry trends and best practices.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and control the use of equipment and supplies, and recommend purchases as needed.
• Assist with program marketing and recruitment efforts to attract and retain students.

• Minimum of six years of related work experience and completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
• Current Utah Journeyman Plumbing License.
• Preference given to those with teaching experience.
• Familiarity with word processing and ability to operate a Windows-based personal computer.
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals of all racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds.

$30.00 to $35.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
