We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a Orthopedic and Spine Specialty nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in line with the department's standards and state regulations. Your primary goal will be to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care to our patients.

About this role:

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic response.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures.
  • Schedule: Weekends only/Nights.

  • 32-bed Orthopedic & Spine Specialty unit committed to post-operative patient care.
  • Well-established care team consisting of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care techs, clinical nurse coordinators, and unit secretaries.
  • Patient-centered therapy gym located in department to allow close collaboration with therapy team.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice.
  • Minimum one year prior Registered Nurse/RN experience required.

Salary Range:

$66,000 - $94,000 per year.
