Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep and clean all facility floors, including offices, manufacturing areas, and common spaces.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash and recycling containers, and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Snow and Debris Removal: Clean snow and debris from sidewalks, entrances, and other areas.
  • Break Room and Restroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect break rooms, restrooms, and first aid areas.
  • Groundskeeping: Perform minor groundskeeping tasks, including weeding, picking up trash, and other light maintenance.
  • Laundry Services: Assist with laundry services, which are managed by an offsite company.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: One year of related work experience in a janitorial function, or equivalent related experience.
  • Safety and Quality: Ability to follow standards and protocols to ensure safety and quality facility-wide.
  • Communication: Ability to employ courtesy and tact in communicating with staff and guests.
  • Teamwork: Be a team player with a "can do" attitude.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and procedures, and prioritize tasks to comply with health and safety standards.
