We are seeking a highly skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in South Gate, California. About the JobThis full-time position involves working as part of our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with various medical conditions. As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop effective treatment plans to improve their mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
- Administer exercises, modalities, and other interventions to help patients achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and coordinated care.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physical Therapy (BPT/ MPT).
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and proficiency in using relevant software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
