We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at NHC. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This is a full-time and part-time opportunity with flexible schedules and block scheduling available.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility
  • Document patient information and progress
Requirements:
  • Long term care, skilled nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including night shifts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
