Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and provide patient care to critically ill patients and their families
- Perform invasive procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement, removal of chest tubes, and removal of IABP
- Practice a combination of both Medical and Surgical services in an environment of rare procedures and rewarding outcomes
- Manage continuity of care for the highest acuity cases in our region
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NYS licensure
- NCCPA certification
- ICU experience
