As a Class A Delivery Driver at US Foods in Streator, IL, you will play a vital role in the foodservice industry by ensuring timely deliveries to customers while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Schedule

Monday to Friday schedule with a start time of 2:30am to 6am. May occasionally have overnight shifts.

Compensation Package

The salary for this position starts at $30.23 per hour and increases to $32.73 per hour after completion of the probation period. With competitive pay and opportunities for growth, this position is essential for supporting our commitment to delivering quality services to our clients.

Main Ingredients of the Job:

  • Drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
  • Unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).
