Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electroneurodiagnostic Technician to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for conducting patient testing, including EMG's, electroencephalograms (EEG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), and electronystagmograms (ENG). Your expertise will help us provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient testing, including EMG's, EEG, NCS, and ENG, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare and position patients for testing, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Explain procedures to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, demonstrating compassion, respect, and empathy at all times.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies, participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Certification through ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Recent experience in EMG and ENG, in addition to EEG, preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, electronics, and instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
