Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and meeting budgetary objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed estimates for clients, considering labor, materials, equipment, subcontracts, and other expenses.
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, using project management tools like Procore.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to evaluate progress, address client concerns, and ensure projects are on track.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to develop deeper relationships with clients and partners.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
- Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols, reporting hazards, and promoting a culture of safety.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the data center industry or large commercial/industrial industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Applied Science, or Architecture.
- Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Office, BlueBeam, Accubid, and Procore.
- License: Active driver's license in good standing.
- SCIF Construction Experience: Experience in SCIF construction is a plus.
- Commercial General Contractor Experience: Experience as a commercial general contractor is a plus.
- PMP Certification: PMP certification is a plus.
- Security Clearance: Active security clearance is a plus.
