About the Position

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Patient Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with referring physicians and Speech Language Pathology Assistants to ensure seamless patient care and adhere to state practice regulations.
  • Staff Development and Training: Participate in in-service training programs and act as a clinical preceptor for CFY/RFPs and students to promote professional growth and development.
  • Patient Education and Support: Train patients and their families on self-care techniques and provide maintenance program instructions to ensure successful transitions to home.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports to meet state and insurance requirements.
  • Discharge Planning and Coordination: Play an active role in discharge planning to ensure patients receive the necessary tools and resources for continued success at home.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology (preferred Master's or Doctorate). Prior experience is desirable, but a strong passion for patient care is essential.
  • Tech Skills: Proficient in using electronic health record systems such as Point Click Care.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and team members effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and ability to solve practical challenges in the moment.
  • Licensure: Active licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state with ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of approximately $ $85,000 - $112,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
