About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Dougherty County Facilities Management Department. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Empty trash and recycling containers, and maintain a clean and organized storage area
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, cleaning restrooms, and cleaning windows
  • Operate various cleaning equipment and machinery, including vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of custodial or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, and possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the work
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License required
