Job Summary:
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide private duty nursing services to pediatric and adult patients in their own homes. As a LPN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care and services in accordance with prescribed orders, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data and information from healthcare members and documenting actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor and report patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
