Role Overview
Ameresco is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Maintenance Engineer to join its team in the Roanoke, Virginia area. This role involves working on commercial or utility solar facilities, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical/electronic maintenance and be able to work at heights.

Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules for solar site equipment.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic issues related to solar facilities.
* Supervise and train apprentice electricians/coworkers to teach proper use of tools and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum 2 years experience in industrial solar electric/electronic maintenance.
* Current State Journeyman's Electrical License.
* Valid Drivers' License in good standing.

Benefits and Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $35-$42 per hour, with a sign-on bonus of $5,000. Ameresco offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, investment plans, and incentives for innovation and achievement.
