We are in search of a Senior Budget Analyst to enhance our vibrant team at Axle Informatics. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in addressing NIH budget inquiries, generating reports, forecasts, and analyses for NIH clientele, as well as overseeing contract metrics, including Earned Value Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial dimensions of NIH contracts, subcontracts, and programs to guarantee cost efficiency, schedule compliance, and superior performance.
  • Employ financial forecasting techniques to estimate costs on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, while also performing scenario modeling for project evaluations.
  • Direct planning, guidance, and oversight to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Examine subcontract and consulting agreements for financial conformity with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, laws, and standards in all contracts.
  • Spot opportunities for enhancements in financial planning and process efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in General Budgeting utilizing MS Excel, MS Suite, Business Intelligence, and expertise in earned value cost accounting and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing program cost variances and executing corrective measures.
  • Experience in managing diverse contract types, including Time and Materials (T&M), Cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF), and Firm Fixed-Price (FFP).
  • Proficient in crafting program/project plans, resource distribution, risk identification, and contingency strategies.
