Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to assist our licensed Physical Therapists in providing treatment, tests, and client education to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in providing treatment and tests to clients
  • Provide client education and training on physical therapy techniques and exercises
  • Conduct home visits to assess client needs and provide care
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement client care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
