Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to assist our licensed Physical Therapists in providing treatment, tests, and client education to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in providing treatment and tests to clients
- Provide client education and training on physical therapy techniques and exercises
- Conduct home visits to assess client needs and provide care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement client care plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care
- Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont
- Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
