Rutgers University is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Psychology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in behavioral neuroscience, including physiological psychology, learning processes, and neuropsychology. Additionally, the instructor will be expected to teach other key courses in the curriculum, such as quantitative methods and general psychology. A Ph.D. and experience teaching large college classes are required. Strong teaching evaluations and a commitment to innovative instructional techniques are highly valued. The appointment is a non-tenure track annual renewable position with a workload of six courses per year. The possibility of a three-year renewable contract after the first year of appointment is also available. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral neuroscience and a passion for teaching.
