Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Staff Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems for our Heat Batteries. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement effective medium voltage solutions for power distribution
- Integrate process sensors for tasks such as temperature measurement and power measurement
- Prioritize and implement safety measures in the design and execution of electrical systems
- Create and interpret single line diagrams to facilitate efficient communication and documentation
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in MV electrical engineering
- In-depth knowledge of medium voltage systems and components
- Experience with different types of sensors to enhance system functionality
- Expertise in working with different types of actuators to control and optimize electrical controlled systems
- Deep understanding of high-power transformers and their integration into electrical systems
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

This role is on-site in Alameda and necessitates being on-site at our Alameda HQ 5 days per week. The estimated annual salary range for this role is $173,000 to $220,000 and it would be eligible for Rondo's excellent benefits listed above plus additional compensation in the form of equity. For those who would need to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area, a relocation stipend would also be a possible benefit with this role.
