Altimeter Solutions is a dynamic company seeking an Electronics Engineering Specialist to join our team. Estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $120,000 depending on location and experience.

About the Job

This position requires a strong understanding of electronics and mechanical concepts. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining methods of testing and troubleshooting equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering RF/analog/digital design and measurement tasks as well as operational tests and fault isolation on radio systems.
  • Use various test and measurement equipment to evaluate radio equipment performance.
  • Support trouble shooting of existing/new products in our manufacturing facility.
  • Perform engineering tests, detailed experimental testing or operational test and fault isolation on boards, systems, and equipment with guidance from engineering.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Technology, or 2 year degree with equivalent experience.
  • PWB level modification and build experience (SMT devices, removal, soldering).
  • Fixture design and assembly (basic mechanical skills).
  • Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters.
  • Expertise in evaluation of designs for testability; Working knowledge of the fundamentals of In-Circuit Test (ICT), functional board level testing, unit and system level testing, coverage analysis.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (email, report, documentation etc.).
