Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing a team of warehouse workers to ensure smooth operations, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Assign daily tasks such as picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company quality standards, including packaging and handling of goods.
  • Train new team members on warehouse operations, safety guidelines, and company procedures.
  • Enforce safety policies, conduct safety briefings, and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Address issues related to operations, equipment, or personnel and ensure they are resolved quickly.
  • Provide updates to warehouse manager on team performance, any operational challenges, and overall progress.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and develop a team.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles, warehouse safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Forklift certification and/or other relevant certifications (desired).
